Maintain an appropriate presence with technology related initiatives that could have an impact on ISD/local districts (e.g. FTL, Learnport, etc.)

Monitor and assist with the development and implementation of the NCLB 8th Grade Technology Literacy assessment program

Monitor and assist with the development and implementation of the State Technology Plan

Maintain and expand the relationship with REMC (in conjunction with MAISA Program and Services Committee)

Educate, monitor, and report on the use of data warehousing in the effective school improvement planning process

Strongly encourage ISDs/local districts to participate when appropriate with the Edunets group

Strongly support the retention of the current school-related provisions of the Michigan Telecommunications Act
