The committee goals for the year 2003-04, as provided by the MAISA Executive Committee included:

• Continue to inform our membership about, and to assist with, the development of the MDE accreditation Education YES! process.
• Provide information to our members and provide assistance to the State and to local districts in meeting the requirements of “No Child Left Behind.”
• Maintain working relationships with school improvement facilitators, Office of Field Services, Math & Science Centers, Staff Development Council and Michigan Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (MASCD), and make connections with MIEM to support regional and statewide professional development activities in collaborative ways.
