The TISD serves nine local school districts covering 1,000 square miles. There are 14,000 K-12 membership with 1,300 non public schools. The ISD operates a technical center and a center for the handicapped and is the fiscal agent for REMC 10, the Drug-Free Schools and Community Program, and the Health Education Program for Tuscola, Sanilac and Huron ISD’s.
