Dir. of Instructional Services The Mason-Lake Intermediate School District serves six school districts and one public school academy in an area covering three counties and approximately 907 square miles. In the 2001/02 school year there was an estimated enrollment of 6,600 public and 200 non-public K-12 students. MLISD provides many programs including a Vocational Technical Center and a Math Science Center on the campus of West Shore Community College. The ISD Developmental Center houses programs for the Severely Cognitively Impaired, Moderately Cognitively Impaired and Early Childhood Developmentally Delayed students. Specialized programs are also offered in two local districts: Mason-Lake ISD provides consultant services to local districts in the following areas: emotionally impaired, hearing impaired, learning disabled, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychologists, school social workers, speech pathologists, food service, gifted & talented, school improvement and staff development. During the 2001/02 school year over 300 workshops were offered to area teachers, administrators and support personnel. Public school districts in service area: |
