The AMA ESD, one of Michigan’s 57 educational service districts, has the state mandated purpose to provide service for public and non-public school districts through supplementary resources. The AMA ESD serves as the regional school service agency for four public school districts and non-public schools in Alpena, Montmorency, and Alcona counties and part of Presque Isle County. The AMA seeks excellence and equity in education by consultation, consortium, and direct services in collaboration with our clients, other agencies, and community partners.
