The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is one of 57 intermediate districts in Michigan.The Montcalm Area ISD serves seven local public districts and one public school academy enrolling approximately 13,500 students as well as 12 private/parochial/denominational schools enrolling 879 students. The Montcalm Area ISD operates three facilities serving special and general education students. There are approximately 225 people employed by the MAISD on a regular or part-time basis at the MAISD.
